Privacy statement
How Holikom GmbH processes personal data: on this website, for enquiries and projects, and when we contact companies for the first time.
This website
The website sets no cookies, uses no analytics and loads no third-party content. It is delivered through Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps. The hosting provider processes technically necessary details such as the IP address, time and requested page to deliver the website and protect it from misuse.
Enquiries and projects
When you write to us, we process your details to answer your enquiry and to carry out an agreed project. We use Microsoft 365 for email and bexio for accounting. We run our internal systems in Microsoft Azure in Switzerland.
When we contact you for the first time
We contact individual companies whose activities match our services: by email or letter, sometimes with a call a few days later. To do so, we use publicly available details: entries in the UID register, the commercial register and the Swiss Official Gazette of Commerce, entries in the telephone directory, and details a company publishes on its own website, such as a general email address or its legal notice. We record where we found an address or number. We do not call numbers marked with an asterisk in the telephone directory. We also assess whether our services might fit with the help of an AI service that we run in Switzerland (Azure OpenAI, Switzerland North region); it receives only these public details. We review and send every message individually.
No further messages or calls
If you would rather not hear from us, a short reply, a word on the phone or an email to info@holikom.com is enough. We then add your address and your company to a block list and do not contact you again. We keep this list for that purpose only.
Retention
Details of companies we contacted that do not answer are deleted after twelve months; the block list remains. We keep business records for as long as the law requires, usually ten years.
Service providers and transfers abroad
Our service providers are Microsoft (Azure, Microsoft 365) and bexio AG. Microsoft is based in the USA; data may therefore also reach the USA, in particular when this website is delivered. We rely on the provider's contractual safeguards for this.
Your rights
You can ask for information about your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to its processing. Write to us at info@holikom.com. You may also complain to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
